The early history of Petrel is not known.
Custodian: Mark Gray; Unknown – 2009
Mark Gray from Sorrento was the custodian of Petrel for a few years.
Custodian: Keith Parkes; Unknown; 2009 – 2011
She was then purchased by Keith Parkes of Goolwa, South Australia in 2009. He owned her for approximately two years, during which time he sailed her at Goolwa in South Australia.
Custodians: Anne and Paul Simmons; Unknown; 2009 – 2018
From 2011 until approximately 2018, Petrel was owned by Anne and Paul Simmons who also sailed her at Goolwa.
Custodian: Unknown; 2018 – Present
She has been sold twice in recent years and is thought to be still at Goolwa in South Australia.
