History
The history of the boat has been researched and we are fairly certain it was built by Bob Cayzer in or about 1952, NOT 1965 as previously stated. A wooden block on the boat has a load rating and a date stamped September 1952. There is an identical boat in Portland known to have been built in 1952. It is also significant that the boat has no centre plate typical of some of the boats post war boats.
Comments
The boat is constructed of West Australian KARRI
The boat has a new engine. The SAAB diesel has been replaced with a new Beta 20hp diesel.
The internal ballast has been increased and is now approximately 1.5 tonnes to compensate for the new, much lighter motor.
